Laney Lewis

Laney joined TTV Capital as a partner in 2022 and has responsibility for marketing, communications, and investor relations. Prior to joining TTV Capital, Laney ran various global go-to-market teams for IBM, including Watson Media, IBM Client Stories, and The Weather Company B2B. 

Laney joined IBM through its acquisition of Clearleap in December 2015.  Laney was Clearleap’s first hire in marketing when the venture-backed startup was less than 20 people and ultimately led as CMO as the company grew to 100+ employees.  A member of the executive team, Laney was critical to the company's growth, culture, and successful exit.  Laney began her career at Ogilvy & Mather in NYC on the Time Warner Cable account (and still occasionally claims to be an “agency person”).

Laney graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University where she studied Art History and Human & Organizational Development.  She is also an avid runner, reader, and a thankful (but very tired) mama of three.
